As a white clinician practicing here, I hold awareness that therapy does not exist outside of history or systems of power. My work is grounded in a decolonizing, feminist, and systemic lens — one that names the impacts of colonialism, white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalism on our nervous systems, relationships, and access to safety. Land acknowledgment is not a checkbox, but an ongoing commitment to humility, learning, and accountability in how I practice.
